Danville Park

Mississauga is now home to Danville Park, a 25-hectare space of parkland for year-round activity. We’re proud to sponsor a unique aviation-themed feature in Danville Park, which was designed with help from the community.

At Toronto Pearson, we believe it’s important to be a good neighbour. That’s why we are proud to have partnered with the City of Mississauga to build Final Approach – Danville Terminal in Danville Park.

Danville Park

Danville Terminal soars an impressive 25 metres above the surrounding area and features a sleek overhead airplane, a painted runway, informational plaques and a windsock, that demonstrates wind speed and its direction. It also features limestone, donated by the GTAA, from the former Avro Arrow building, an important piece of Canadian aviation history.

A special thank you goes out to our neighbours who helped choose the name and some of the design elements of the park. With your help, we have created a fun and interactive space that reflects the community and honours its history.
