  • No Street Festival This Year

Toronto Pearson loves meeting its neighbours and looks for every opportunity to do so.

Street Festival is our largest community event and we love the opportunity to invite our neighbours for a behind the scenes look at the airport to see our operations in action, meet the people who work at the airport, and have some great fun.
We’re sad to share we will not be hosting a 2016 Street Festival. Summer 2016 has been Toronto Pearson’s busiest travel season yet, with record-setting passenger traffic. This growth brings with it a dynamic and evolving operational environment, one in which we are unable to accommodate Street Festival. We are hopeful to bring the Street Festival back in summer 2017.

There are also many other opportunities to see the airport up close and meet the Toronto Pearson airport community! We hope to see you at some of our other events this year, like our annual Runway Runairside tourscommunity events and open houses.

To stay in-the-know about events and initiatives happening at the airport, sign up for our newsletter, Checking In.

Were you planning to volunteer at Street Festival?

There are a number of ways to volunteer at Toronto Pearson. For those able to make a regular weekly commitment, we encourage you to join our Welcome Team We also have upcoming volunteer opportunities at some of our other events, like the Runway Run and annual emergency exercises. Sign up for our community newsletter to be sure you hear about all upcoming volunteer opportunities and events.

    What people are saying:

    In the news:

“In a lot of ways Pearson International Airport is a city unto itself. There's a population of 40,000 employees, they have a couple of fire departments and a police station, customs facilities and vendors that easily match a city shopping plaza.” – Mississauga News
