Fees

We’re committed to the continued improvement of Pearson Airport. That’s why funds we collect through Airport Improvement Fees (AIFs) are used for capital expenses and go directly toward debt from projects like the recent redevelopment of the airport.

We try to keep AIFs at reasonable levels. Currently these fees are collected through airline ticketing:

  • Departing passengers: $35, plus applicable taxes
  • Connecting passengers: $7, plus applicable taxes

The connecting fee applies to both domestic and transborder flights where the next flight takes place less than four hours after arrival at the airport. All fees shown are in Canadian dollars.
